2024年8月5日，基洛纳华人协会 (KCUA) 召开了第一届创始会员大会，按照流程投票选举产生了第一届理事会。当选的理事为（按姓氏拼音排序）陈露凝、杜子学、贾兰莲、聂结胜、谭仁先、严长祥、杨继红、张蕾。大会确定设立提名委员会为协会常设机构，并任命傅玲为理事提名委员会主席。

        本届会议决定选举8名理事，目的是理事会可以根据协会发展需要增补有才能、有意愿、志同道合服务社区的人士一同建设基洛纳华人协会。 

​

        协会理事会随后召开2024年度第一次理事工作会议，确定理事具体分工和协会的后续事务安排。 

​

        协会近期将逐步落实场地、资金、开展的活动和相关管理制度，此后将开放接受会员注册，邀请大家参与各项活动。感谢大家的耐心和期待，在此期间您可以参与华人协会各个参建团队现有的活动。

On August 5, 2024, the Kelowna Chinese United Association held its first founding member meeting and voted to elect the first board of directors in accordance with the process. The elected directors include (in alphabetical order of surnames) Luning Chen, Richard Du, Lanlian Jia, Jason Nie, Renxian Tan, John Yan, Jihong Yang, and Lei Zhang. The meeting of members decided to establish a nomination committee as a permanent institution of the association and appointed Fu Ling as the chairman of the director nomination committee.

This session decided to elect 8 directors, with the aim of allowing the board of directors to add talented, willing, and like-minded people who serve the community to build the Kelowna Chinese Association together according to the development needs of the association.

​

The board of directors held the first board of directors' working meeting in 2024 to determine the specific division of labor of the directors and the subsequent affairs arrangements of the association.

​

The association will gradually implement the venue, funds, activities and related management systems in the near future, and will then open membership registration and invite everyone to participate in various activities. Thank you for your patience and expectations. During this period, you can participate in the existing activities of the various participating teams of the Chinese Association.
